LPG (propane liquid) and Natural gas have same functionality, but they different in properties.This is brief explanation about their differences.
LPG
- Primarily Propane
- Liquify easy, so it can delivered everywhere inside tank as liquid
- Better energy (2.5 x Natural gas)
- Heavier than air
Natural Gas
- Primarily Methane
- Not easy to liquify, so it transport to houses via pipe from central provider.
- Less energy compared to LPG
- Lighter than air, so it less explosive risk.
If we talk about price, it can be vary on every country depending on availability. If you want to buy water heaters, you should know this because water heaters equipment need a spesific type of gas to operate.
